Rhode Island Society for Technology of Technology Educators, formerly RISTE, is now EdTechRI. Our mission remains the same:

The Mission of Rhode Island Society of Technology Educators (EdTechRI) accelerates educational excellence through technology innovation, collaborative networks, and dedicated advocacy.

Our vision: EdTechRI is the recognized foundation and trusted catalyst for educational evolution in Rhode Island, igniting excellence and cultivating limitless learning through collaborative innovation, collective impact, and unwavering advocacy.

EdTechRI provides technology leadership, support, and training for the Rhode Island K-12 education community including technology directors, tech coaches, librarians, data managers, and teachers.

Membership is open to all educators and technical directors in Rhode Island K-12 public, private-independent, charter and religious schools.

We are building a vibrant community of Rhode Island K-12 educators, advancing the effective and innovative use of technology to transform learning for all students.

EdTechRI, under our Rhode Island Society of Technology Educators umbrella, is authorized by Rhode Island State Law to facilitate collaborative purchasing agreements, leveraging the collective buying power of the state's K-12 school community to secure competitive pricing and cost savings for all schools. We have also formed an alliance with TEC (The Education Cooperative) to form RISPA - The Rhode Island Student Privacy Alliance, in order to provide our members with a low-cost alternative for Student Data Privacy. For more information on how to join, please start here
